Sharks Bay - March 2010
Our holiday started when we met up at Luton and it was fantastic to have all new people joining an Indepth group trip away, with the exception of Mark, Sheikh Markie of Kew, who manages to find time between working and sleeping to regularly join us on holidays to the sun!
Within 50 minutes of landing in Sharm, we were settled by the beach bar, Sakara beer in hand and our week of relaxing and diving had begun!

Our Diving with Sharks Bay
As Indepth are regular visitors to Sharks Bay, we were lucky enough to be offered the use of the larger safari boat, Freedom VIII, as our dive boat for 6 days. This meant that not only did we have our favorite crew looking after us but also that we had the rib at our disposal, enabling us to do some dives that are normally not possible when daily diving.
Our first day was spent close to shore at Ras Bob and Ras Nasrani as the wind was still strong but throughout the week we enjoyed some lovely dives at Tiran and Ras Mohammed and managed to spot turtles, rays, dolphins and just one leopard shark. (FYI Gema, these sharks are harmless and there is no need to scream and hide behind your buddy!!)
Congratulations to the whole group as everyone's diving improved dramatically during the week but special mention to those below for passing the following PADI courses.

Frances: you win the award for doing your homework perfectly. Mike: sadly you did not get anywhere near to this award but there is always hope in the future!!
Thanks to Adel's ability and passion, we had a lovely week diving and look forward to our next visit to Sharks Bay.
