Gozo is a small island off Malta in the Mediterranean. This island has some of the best diving the Med has to offer with a wide selection of shore or boat dives, caves, caverns and wrecks.
After a short flight to Malta, we travelled in taxis across the island to catch the ferry to Gozo where Brian and Stephania, our diving hosts from Atlantis Diving Centre were waiting to greet us.

We stayed in the Lantern Guesthouse, a small family run business, based in Marselforn. Joseph the owner made us very welcome and the rooms were perfect for the short amount of time we spent in the guesthouse, although Mark thought his bathroom should be bigger so he could sit on the loo properly!

We dived with Atlantis, an extremely professional and well-organised dive centre run by Brian and Stephania. Indepth had used the centre in previous years and we were treated like old friends. Although we were not the only group diving with Atlantis, we received excellent service and personal attention.
During our trip we dived some wonderful sites, including the Blue Hole and Inland Sea, two famous sites on Gozo. Several of us (those not too hungover!) also braved the climb down the cliff to dive out the inlet to the spectacular Cathedral Cave. This was a highlight of the trip for many of us as well as diving the Rosie wreck off Malta and swimming through the tunnels at Comino Caves.
Thank you everyone for such an amazing time.
Clair
It was great as ever ....
Hazel
Thank you to everyone for an excellent trip. Thanks to Helen for organising everything superbly as usual and for lending me torches and moral support in the tunnels!
Vicki
Top trip guys and gals, thanks for making it memorable.
Geoff
Excellent time and really great group .... big thanks all round.
Pauli
These trip notes would not be complete if Pebbles Restaurant and The Dive Bar were not mentioned. We spent so much time in these establishments (some more than others!) and I am sure their profits have been severely reduced since we left Gozo!
Our thanks should go to Teddy and Diane at Pebbles for looking after us so well, although if we hadn't been offered "one for the road" on Saturday night, we may all have been fit for diving the next day. Oh well ....... you live and learn except if your name begins with P for whom it is becoming an annual occurence! (Yes I know, you are on holiday!)
* Vicki achieving her 300th dive
* Pauli suffering his 300th hangover
* MFJ and the boys finding the only group of girls in Marselform and chatting up the mother!
* Finding the only sea horse in the bay so Vicki's dream of seeing the elusive creature was fulfilled.
oh and last but not least ........
* the photo of "dad" on the loo !!
