Be Safe – Be Prepared. Be the one ready to help a fellow diver should the need arise by becoming a PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider. Even if you have EFR and Rescue Diver skills, the confidence to provide a fellow diver with oxygen could make the difference to their recovery and survival.
Who is the course for?
Everyone! There are no pre-course requirements, no age limits, no need to be a first aider or a diver.
If you spend time with divers whether in the water or as our much valued surface support, a partner or parent of a diver – you might be the one that could make a difference.
The Emergency Oxygen Provider Speciality is a great addition to EFR First Aid. It can be built into the Rescue Diver course and all Divemasters & Instructors should have the training and confidence to provide oxygen and make a difference in an emergency.
The Course Schedule
• Read the course materials and answer the Knowledge Reviews at home
• Come to the shop for skills development session – 2-3 hours
