Having completed your entry-level training you may now wish to take your diver training to the next stage.
The Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) Specialty course offers you the opportunity of a lifetime - Flying across your chosen dive site and seeing more than you could of hoped for before. Lets face it as well, it's a toy and a great laugh!!
What form will the course take?
This course is designed to be an introduction to DPV diving and to help you develop the necessary skills, knowledge and techniques to safely participate in deep diving activities.
In this course you will experience what it’s like to dive with the DPV's
, it’s different. It takes additional training. Here’s where you get it.
• Experience diving with the DPV's
• Learn DPV dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and hazards
• Two open water dives that range from 0 - 30 metres
• Equipment considerations
• Diver etiquette and how to avoid harming fragile aquatic life.
The Certification counts towards the Master Scuba Diver Rating
The Course Schedule
The course includes a knowledge development session and Two open water dives. Please check with an Instructor at In Depth Diving for the next scheduled course dates.
This is the ideal course to do in cooler or warmer climes on a trip organised by Indepth.
What qualifications do I need?
You must be a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent. You must also be at least 12 years of age. Indepth would advise that for new divers the Peak Performance Bouyancy speciality is a good one to do before this one.
Course Fee
The course costs £150 and includes tuition fees and the DPV Diver manual. Equipment rental and transportation costs to dive sites are not included in the price.
On completion of the course, there is an additional certification fee due to PADI of £25.

A deposit of £50 will be required and you will also be asked to sign a Medical Statement, a Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding and an Express Assumption of Risk form prior to the start of your course.
