Oh and of course Said, the man with the most boring job in the world!
Our journey started with the usual nonsense at Gatwick! Some of us seemed not to be on the system which came back to haunt us at the lovely Hurghada airport! Pints were consumed, overpriced full english breakfasts were forced down and we were off. We were met at the other end by Fefe who was slightly surprised by the amount of beer we bought for the trip!
After a dull three hour transfer we arrived at Port Ghalib, welcomed on the boat by a crew that proved over the week to be fantastic, great service, very friendly and efficient. After the usual paperwork and faffing it was off to bed. The next morning we departed for a week of adventure on the not so high seas!
The dives we did are listed below. Overall, I think I speak for all, we experienced some great diving - maybe a few more sharks next time will go down well. Overall we were very lucky with flat calm seas. Our dive guides treated us very well even though no one seemed to want to dip into their vast knowledge!

The boat proved to be very spacious with lots of room for everyone to chill out. We never felt cramped unless you were sitting next to the XL gentlemen, Alex and Nick!!
The upstairs chillout area seemed to be the place where we spent most of the time. If not we were next to the bar or watching videos.
